ISAE-SUPAERO project management tool
Introduction
ISAE-Supaero provides staff and students with a computer project management platform GitLab.
GitLab is an open source git-based forge that provides wiki functionality, bug tracking, continuous integration and continuous delivery.
This service aims to be an alternative to the various forges, GitLab being a more modern service and more in the air of time.
For whom? For what?
Students, professors and other ISAE-Supaero staff have access to this GitLab instance for their various research or student projects.
People from outside ISAE-Supaero participating in a project in collaboration with ISAE-Supaero staff can also have access to this service. However, they cannot create a project and must be attached to ISAE-Supaero projects by their collaborators.
Gitlab can only be used for educational and non commerical research use case.
features
The GitLab instance set up has many features including :
- Accessibility outside the ISAE network (no VPN required)
- Data backup
- Possibility to create own projects
- Fine management of the rights on its projects
